In this review of the Tarot of the Abyss, we explore Ana Tourian’s beautiful black-and-white deck that reflects the soul’s journey. This deck starts in the dark and mysterious “abyss” and moves into light and understanding, like a journey from chaos to order. Each card in the Major and Minor Arcana captures a different stage of transformation, self-reflection, and growth. With 80 cards, including two alternate versions and a 148-page guidebook, this deck offers many layers of meaning and symbolism.
In this video, we’ll start with an unboxing and a look through the guidebook. We’ll check out the artwork in the Major and Minor Arcana, examine the Court Cards, test how the deck shuffles, and finish with a one-card reading to show how it works in action.
